Dell PowerEdge XR servers are specifically designed for telco and ISP environments. The short-depth, 1RU and 2RU chassis feature front-facing ports with redundant AC or DC power options.
Dell markets the PowerEdge XR as a “ruggedized, MIL-STD and NEBS compliant 1RU expandable server for telecommunications, military, and retail.”
These are ideal for vRouter, CGNAT, and BNG solutions from 4x10G to 4x100G. The following show validated configurations for small to large configurations.
