CEO & CTO

Weixiao is the CEO and CTO of netElastic Systems, where he leads the company’s business strategy and technology innovation. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in managing large engineering and product development teams, Weixiao is a visionary leader in the networking industry.

His passion for solving complex networking challenges and engaging directly with customers enables Weixiao to drive netElastic’s product roadmap with a deep customer-centric focus. This hands-on approach ensures that netElastic’s solutions are tailored to meet real-world needs, setting the company apart from competitors.

Before joining netElastic, Weixiao served as Director of Engineering at iDirect, where his leadership in product development and innovation played a key role in tripling the company’s revenue to over $300 million. He also led global research initiatives as a Senior Engineer at Thomson Silicon Components.

Weixiao holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Physics from Miami University.

David Williams

Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

David is the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at netElastic, where he leads global sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and innovation. With over 25 years of leadership experience in the ISP industry, David has a deep expertise in residential, business, and wholesale broadband markets.

David has a strong track record of success, having founded two start-up ISPs and served in key executive roles at leading national providers. Before joining netElastic, he was President of MegaPath, where he spearheaded nationwide delivery of managed services for businesses and wholesale offerings for ISPs.

Since joining netElastic in 2016, David has been instrumental in helping ISPs in over 30 countries scale efficiently through virtualized network technologies. His strategic insight and operational expertise continue to shape netElastic’s global impact.

David holds a degree in Computer Science and Business from California State University, Chico.

Kerry Zhang

Principal Solutions Architect

As one of netElastic’s founding team members, Kerry has been instrumental in shaping the technology and product innovations that define the company’s acclaimed solutions today. In his role as Principal Solutions Architect, Kerry bridges the gap between customer needs and cutting-edge solutions, ensuring that netElastic’s offerings meet the evolving demands of the market.

Kerry leads the engineering and development teams behind netElastic’s netVision product, a popular web-based management tool used across all of netElastic’s virtual router products. His technical leadership and customer-centric approach allow him to deliver solutions that empower ISPs to maximize the benefits of netElastic’s virtual BNG and CGNAT offerings.

Kerry holds a Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Science & Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His passion for innovation and problem-solving continues to drive netElastic’s success in the industry.
